This place is absolutely mind-blowing! It has everything you might need - from a fully stocked kitchen with electric kettle and cookware to air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the beautiful castle and old town. The breakfast provided was jaw-dropping, with a wide variety of delicious items including fresh bread, cheeses, hams, yogurts. The outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying the stunning sunsets. The wifi was reliable and the hiking trails nearby were fantastic. Plus, the restaurant next door served the most amazing ensopado, the best lamb I've had in Portugal so far. this rustic yet comfortable accommodation in a small, quiet village was a true gem and a highlight of our trip! No pets allowed and non-smoking rooms were available.

The living room is a great place to relax and unwind, with a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The double rooms are spacious and come with an additional single bed, perfect for families or groups.

Personally, I found the shower in the "A" house to be a bit small. However, others may still find it functional and enjoyable.

We had a cozy stay at Cantinho da Ana in Sortelha. The house/apartment was original and well-restored, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location, though not in the walled part of Sortelha, was convenient as we had easy parking and didn't have to climb up the medieval pass. It was just a short walk of less than 1 km uphill to reach the castle and the stunning ancient village. The breakfast provided by Ana was amazing, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, cereals, local bread and pastries. it was a nice place for a short stay and exploring the area.

Despite our language barrier, she went above and beyond to assist us upon our arrival, ensuring we had access to the keys and parking. The apartment itself was absolutely incredible, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were especially grateful for the abundance of food provided for breakfast, as it was difficult to find open food establishments during our February visit. we highly recommend O Cantinho Da Ana for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
